We could hear the news helicopter this past weekend and wondered what was up in the Arroyo (Hahamonga). This basin was a roaring river of mud and debris. If you look back to a previous post of the reflection shot of the Arroyo, this is the same location. Larry Welk is the son of Lawrence Welk (my mother used to watch the Lawrence Welk show).

More Snowy Mountain Scenes
We had another gorgeous view of our local mountains this morning. The recent storm not only brought a whole lot of rain, but snow to our nearby mountains.

Beautiful. Don't you just love it, palm trees and snowcapped mountains. That is the one thing I love about were I live. We can be in the snow, at the beach or in the desert within an hour or so depending on traffic.
